Install It in About a Minute
The Chrome Web Store listing is on its way. Until it lands you add the extension yourself: seven steps, no account, in Chrome, Brave, Edge or Arc.
From Download to Your Timeline
Each step, as it looks on your screen.
Don't Trust Us. Check the Files.
You do not have to trust us. Each of these can be checked in the extension's own files before you load it.
The only permission is storage, for your settings. It runs on x.com and twitter.com and nowhere else, and the browser enforces that list. See manifest.json.
Every network call is made from one file and goes to our API. Fonts and images are bundled, so nothing else is loaded. See src/background.js.
Extensions of this kind cannot download and run new code after install. Search the files for eval or remote scripts: there are none.
It copies the public posts and profiles X already loaded for you. Requests pass through untouched, and it never posts, follows or likes. See src/page.js.
It reads one value, your public X user id, only to leave you out of everything it shares. Your login cookie cannot be read by any extension script.
The zip is the published files, unchanged. Its SHA-256 below lets you check your copy before you load it.

No spam. One email when it lands, one for big updates.
Chrome shows that notice for every extension added by hand. Close it and the extension keeps running.
Download the new version, unzip it over your old folder so the files are replaced, then press the reload arrow on its card in your extensions page. Once it is on the Chrome Web Store it updates itself.
Same steps. The page is brave://extensions in Brave and edge://extensions in Edge. In Arc, open Extensions from the menu.
The browser loads the extension from that folder. Put it back, or load it again from its new place with Load unpacked.
Yes: the one on this page. An extension with our name from anywhere else is not ours.
